GD 2010 (The Swedish Foundation Day 2010) will take place on March 11th 2010 at the Stockholm International Fairs venue in Älvsjö, Stockholm (http://www.stofair.se/). The day will be rounded off by a banquet in the evening in the Vasa Museum  in central Stockholm.

The Foundation Day (GD) is organized by the Swedish Geotechnical Society (SGF).
The GD-committee plans and executes the annual Foundation Day as the main task.

The Foundation Day is the meeting point for people and companies in the geotechnical field
(contractors, consultants, entrepreneurs, suppliers, students etc) with some 650 participants
and around 40 companies in the exhibition.

We are happy to note that over the last five years there has been an increase of people coming to the GD from Europe and the Nordic countries. Obviously,  international companies in the geotechnical field has focused on this day and has seen its potential.
